Some ideas from someone else --thank you!

Often when I come across a weekly menu on a recipe blog, I leave it thinking something along the lines of, "Yah, right. Like I've got the time/resources/money pull a menu like that off. OR, and most importantly, it doesn't fit in with our family's food tastes. If no one likes it, what's the point? I happened to see this particular weekly menu today, and it largely fits our bill. So, we will eventually happily give some/most of these recipes a try.
http://www.favfamilyrecipes.com/weekly-menu-plan-6.html -the following recipes we are trying this week are posted here.
Tue.: Butternut Squash Soup* and Teriyaki Spinach Pasta salad*
Wed.: Pizza Stuffed Shells*
Thu.: Slow Cooker Ranch Pork chops* and potatoes

*Butternut squash soup - this was easy, and the flavor was good, but no one reached for seconds. My oldest hated it because of the texture. It's squash, so it's got the thick grainy texture, like cream of wheat.
Teriyaki spinach pasta salad- similar to the spinach chicken pasta salad we have sometimes, but it came together faster. Good, but I prefer the salad I usually make over this one.
*Pizza Stuffed Shells - I liked it. Everyone ate it without complaint, minus a spicy piece of pepperoni now and then for my three year old. This recipe warrants repeating. Family approved.
*Slow cooker ranch pork chops - this meal was good and simple, but I'm not a fan of condensed soups. I ran out of time, but I would like to make my own sauce next time. It would probably boost the taste.
*Tex Mex chicken and rice - Everybody ate it. It was fine. Maybe it would be better if I'd added sour cream and guacamole. It made a lot, which is nice, but I was just okay with the taste.
